The series Shallow Water Blackout produced throughout 2025 engages with everyday experiences that appear at once familiar and strange. Through fragmentary views of bodies and objects, the photographs seek to unsettle straightforward interpretation. By inviting a slower encounter with the image, the work aims to cultivate a sense of pleasure within moments that are at once resistant, disquieting and affirming of life’s perpetual excess.
